Nu Denmark
NÜ Denmark is based in Randers, on Denmark's east coast, and releases six collections a year, around 800 new styles annually. The brand's own description of its DNA is "raw masculinity, feminine sensuality", a mix that shows up as soft draped fabrics cut into sharp, structured shapes rather than anything conventionally pretty.
Fabric quality runs through the range: viscose, lyocell, cotton, silk and wool, much of it in Lenzing's ECOVERO viscose, made from certified wood sources using at least 50% less water and CO2 than standard viscose. Prints and embroidery are hand-finished, giving each print run its own small variations.
Our Nu Denmark edit at OSO Boutique covers the range. The Cherin and Cinda blouses bring soft drape in bone beige and honey gold, and the Cilje tunic dress carries a bold blue-mint abstract print. The Carlene wide-leg trousers and matching waistcoat come in a soft denim-look blue, and the Cansu bolero jacket adds structure. The Adea knit jacket and Ava faux-leather vest round out the layering pieces.
