What should I look for in a women's belt?

Think first about where you will wear it. A narrow belt, around two centimetres wide, is the one to thread through jeans and trousers. Wide belts are cut to sit at the natural waist over a dress or a long knit, and the buckle tends to become the focal point.

Are men's and women's belts different?

Usually, yes. Women's belts tend to be narrower, with smaller buckles, and come in shorter lengths so they sit comfortably at the waist or hip. All the belts we stock are cut for women.

How do I care for a leather or suede belt?

Wipe smooth leather with a soft dry cloth, and condition it now and then to keep it supple. Brush suede gently with a suede brush to lift the nap, and keep it out of heavy rain. Store belts flat or loosely rolled rather than hanging by the buckle.
