NOIB
NOIB clothing is designed in Delhi, and print is the whole story. Palm trees, crescent moons, soft pink roses and star-scattered night skies run across coat dresses and jacquard knits. We've brought NOIB to OSO for the first time this autumn, in the shop at 14 High Street and online.
What caught our eye was the way NOIB places a print. On the Willow coat dress the Nocturnal Jungle design is laid out in panels, black down the front and rust at the sides, so the palm tree runs straight down the centre. It looks considered from across a room, and there is still more to find up close.
Our autumn edit covers long-sleeved coat dresses with lapels and a double-breasted front, in the Nocturnal Jungle and Postcards and Petals prints, and the Lola, a tie-front knitted waistcoat that finishes neatly at the waist. Most of them are made for the dates in the diary: an autumn wedding, a Christmas party, a long lunch with friends.
NOIB calls itself conscious by choice. The label says it works in natural fabrics with no polyester, and prints with inks certified to the GOTS standard. The care label on each piece gives the exact composition.
